Common questions
What is a CFX code?
A CFX code is the short alphanumeric ID in every FiveM join link — for example abc123 in cfx.re/join/abc123. It's generated automatically when a server registers with cfx.re. It's not a password; it's a public key into the server directory.
What input formats are supported?
CFX Finder accepts plain codes (abc123), join URLs (cfx.re/join/abc123), and full HTTPS links (https://cfx.re/join/abc123). Paste any format and we'll extract the code automatically.
How do I search by IP and port?
Switch to IP Address mode and enter the server in IP:port format — for example 51.89.123.456:30120. CFX Finder will pull live data directly from that endpoint.
Why do I need the server IP?
Many servers hide behind cfx.re join links to reduce DDoS exposure. The resolved IP:port is needed for F8 console direct connect, network diagnostics, server monitoring, or troubleshooting connection issues.
Why is the IP hidden for some servers?
Servers using CFX Private Relay intentionally mask their raw IP address. CFX Finder detects this and shows a clear notice instead of returning incorrect data.
