What a CFX code represents
A CFX code is the short identifier used in a cfx.re/join link. It points players toward a registered FiveM server without requiring them to remember a long address. The code is not the server itself; it is a convenient lookup key used during the connection process.
Where you can find the code
Server owners often share the code in Discord, on a website, or in a direct cfx.re/join link. In many cases, the final part of that link is all you need. CFX Finder accepts either the short code or the complete link.
What a resolver can show
A resolver can retrieve public connection information associated with the code, such as the endpoint, server name, online player count, and other public server metadata. Some servers use relays or protections that intentionally hide a raw address, so a direct IP may not always be available.
How to use CFX Finder
Paste the code into the lookup box on the homepage, choose a full report or quick IP lookup, and submit it. The result will show the public information that can be reached at that moment. Availability depends on the server being online and responding.
Frequently asked questions
Is this lookup free?
Yes. Standard lookups are available without signup.
Why might an IP be hidden?
A server can use a relay or proxy that intentionally conceals its raw address. Use the official join link in that situation.
Can server details change?
Yes. The report reflects the data available at lookup time and can change later.
Resolve a CFX code now
